My very first Quarter Horse and a dream come true in every way.
She was imported as a young 2-yearold from the Alps. Hairy, shedding and very downhill in build. I bought her from pictures and pedigree and had a friend check she wasn't lame or had a strange temper.
She grew to be a really pretty feminine bay lady and we build a strong friendship and bond.
I broke her myself, rode her for some years and then she started having babies.
In 4 all-breed shows she was 3 x All around Champion. The first 2 times as a 3-yearold.
She had 3 lovely foals of which I still keep the only filly for breeding.
She was a very smart horse with a great temper. She has given back more than one scared rider the courage to take up riding again. In between her babies she was still used for trailriding. She died at only 9 years of age being kicked in pasture which resulted in a broken leg. She will always be number one.
